LATCHCommand · Dispatch

Every plate, truck and tow on one screen. Yours to keep.

LATCH runs a towing company end to end: scouts in the field, dispatch, drivers, the yard and its liens, pay and the property managers who hire you. Buy it once. It runs on your own server or your own accounts.

Recorded in demo mode, with made-up trucks, crews and plates.
How it works

From a plate on the street to a car in your yard.

Recorded live: the scout's phone, the dispatch board, the driver's phone.
  1. 01

    Scout. Spots it.

4 to 12 photos of the car, each stamped with the day, date, time and street address. The plate is read right on the phone.

  2. 02

    LATCH. Checks it.

The plate is matched against your hotlist and the property's rules. A hit goes straight to dispatch with the photos.

  3. 03

    Dispatch. Sends it.

Review the evidence, then one click assigns the nearest available truck. Or drag the job onto any truck.

  4. 04

    Driver. Hooks it.

Assigned, En Route, Hooked, Completed, with the road route on the map. Or closed as GONE or ROS, with a reason.

  5. 05

    Yard. Drops it.

Every job goes to the right yard, and the tow form, signature included, is filled out on the phone. The car opens an impound and its lien clock starts.

  6. 06

    Client. Sees it.

The property manager watches the tow on their lot as it happens, and can request tows of their own.

  7. 07

    Office. Pays it.

Hours, tows and hits roll into each person's pay plan. Every decision lands in the audit log.

The screens

Four portals. Each role sees only its own.

  • The dispatch board: incoming reports, pending jobs and each truck's queue.

    Command Hub

Admins and dispatch: the live map, the dispatch board, evidence, properties, crew, pay and the audit log.

  • One evidence bin up close: the photos, the raw plate read, the scout, the address and the client.

    Evidence before the hook

Photo bins with the read confidence and hotlist match, approved from the keyboard before a truck rolls.

  • Impounds and liens: every car in the yards, its next lien deadline and what it owes today.

    Impounds and liens

Every car in your yards on Florida's lien timeline: when the notice is due, when it can go to sale, and what it owes today.

  • One impound up close: the lien clock, the lien notice and inventory log PDFs, and the VIN decoded by NHTSA.

    The paperwork, filled in

Each car's lien clock and charges, with the Notice of Claim of Lien and the Inventory Log one click away as PDFs.

  • The client portal: a property manager's lots on a map, open tows, violations and last patrols.

    Client portal

Property managers see their own lots, the tows and patrol findings on them, and request tows of their own.

  • Payroll: the week for the whole crew, ready to export.

    Pay and payroll

Hourly, weekly base, per-tow or per-scan commission and paid days off, per person, with a weekly export.

In the field, on the phone they already have.

Drivers and scouts run LATCH in the phone's browser. Nothing to download, and a driver's updates wait on the phone through a dead zone and send, in order, when the signal is back.

  • The scout's phone: a plate checked against the hotlist as it is typed.
  • The driver's phone: the current job and its steps.
  • The driver's phone: the road route to the car.
What it does

Built for the night shift.

  • Four portals, one live system

Command Hub for admins and dispatch, plus driver, scout and client portals. Every screen updates live.

  • Plates and VINs read on the phone

Plates are marked AUTO until a person corrects them. VINs are filled in only when the check digit verifies.

  • VINs that decode themselves

A verified VIN fills in the year, make, model and body from NHTSA's VIN database. A plate seen before brings its VIN back.

  • Evidence before the hook

Photo bins with read confidence and hotlist match, approved before a truck rolls.

  • Impounds on the lien clock

Every car in your yards on the s. 713.78 timeline, with notices due and sale dates flagged on the dashboard.

  • The lien notice, filled in

Notice of Claim of Lien and Inventory Log PDFs from the record. Mail it certified and log the tracking number.

  • Works through dead zones

A driver's updates wait on the phone and send, in order, when the signal is back.

  • Pay that adds itself up

Hours, tows and hits roll into each person's pay plan, with a weekly payroll export.

  • A record of everything

Job changes, evidence decisions, role changes and shifts, written to the audit log by the database itself.

Own it

Bought once. Yours to keep.

LATCH isn't a subscription. Your company owns its copy, on hardware or accounts in its own name, and your data stays in your hands.

  • In your office (recommended)

LATCH and its database on a computer in your office, reached securely from the field. No extra cost: nothing runs on anyone else's computer.

  • Hosted by me, $100 a month

I run LATCH for you on hosting I manage, so there's no computer to keep in your office. Your company still owns its copy and its data.

  • LATCH runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. There is no app to download.
  • Plates and VINs are read on the scout's phone, with no paid service. Typing a plate always works too.
  • A browser can't track a locked phone. Location and geofencing work while LATCH is open on screen.

See it with your own crew.

LATCH is $3,000 one-time for installation and your company's license; your company owns its copy and its data. Run it in your office at no extra cost (recommended), or I host it for you for $100 a month. See the whole workflow in a 30-minute Zoom demo, and bring whoever runs dispatch.
